Get involved with one of our small groups!

At Parks Church, we desire to have a healthy array of intergenerational Small Groups meeting regularly for care, encouragement, and Kingdom fruitfulness.

Root Depth

God’s Word, Prayer, and Care are the deep roots that sustain healthy groups. Some groups will lean one or two of these as primary, but all 3 should be present.

Acts 2:42-45: And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.

Stability

Healthy groups have clear expectations and rhythms for group meetings, roles, and practices. While groups will look similar, there will be distinctions based on the makeup and needs of each group.

Acts 2:46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts.

Hospitable Growth

Healthy groups not only foster fruitful relationships b/w those who regularly attend or are new to Parks Church. They are also a safe haven to invite our friends & neighbors to meet our church family.

Acts 2:47 Praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

Matthew 13:31-32 He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”

Here’s what we have to offer….

  • Home groups are mixed gender groups, that welcome the whole family! They usually meet Sundays for lunch or dinner, include a meal, pray, and have discussions on the sermon.

  • A small group is a single gender group made up of 5-10 people, that will meet usually during the week to walk through a book of the Bible.

  • Launching 2026….
